“Living the city at the rhythm of its sea”.
This is the theme of the XXVI edition of “Panormus, the school adopts the city”, the longest-running event in the city, which returns after a two-year stop imposed by the pandemic.
53 schools, from childhood to secondary schools, together with the children of 19 nurseries, will animate the symbolic places of the maritime Palermo over the course of four weekends, from 9 April to 15 May (9-10 April, 23-24 April, May 7-8, May 14-15).
The project was presented in the UN room of the Teatro Massimo.
Games, workshops, theatrical and musical performances will unfold from the Foro Italico to Molo Sant’Erasmo, passing through Mondello, Sferracavallo, Arenella, Settecannoli and La Cala, also actively involving the associations operating in the territories.
Grand finale Tuesday 17 May at the Teatro Massimo.
Pupils from seventeen musical institutes involved in the project will play and sing on the steps of Piazza Verdi and in some of the internal rooms of the largest opera house in Italy.
