Viability in Torre Faro, the details of the project drawn up by the “Grilli dello Stretto” meetup
Three areas with different colors, an area reserved exclusively for pedestrians, extended for about 850 meters, 8 loading / unloading points for exhibitors, an additional area for parking (in addition to the Morandi Towers) and the use of 12 buses / shuttles on weekends. These are some of the salient points contained in the viability proposal drawn up by the activists of the “Grilli dello Stretto” meetup to regulate traffic in the village of Torre Faro.
The project, which provides for the establishment of a LTZ in the months of July and August, was presented this morning to the Commission by the municipal councilors of the M5s.
“While waiting for all the procedures to be completed at the Pgtu, the short and medium-term experimental road solution – the project reads – intends to offer a general and exhaustive preliminary and functional framework for a structured and definitive system, in implementation at the time of address voted favorably by the city council ».
The issue of two access “passes” per family unit, intended for residents and entitled persons, and the presence of two municipal police patrols to control reserved parking areas are also envisaged.
“Even the monitoring of the gates – explain the councilors – would be practically at no cost: in fact the idea is to take advantage of operators engaged in projects of collective utility, or the beneficiaries of the Citizenship Income”
Attached are the slides with the project specifications.
