The tour of Antonello Venditti and Francesco De Gregori will arrive on August 25 at the Palermo Velodrome.
A new Sicilian appointment is therefore added to the tour of the two songwriters, protagonists together on the same stage and with a single band in some of the most evocative locations in Italy.
The appointment at the Borsellino Velodrome is promoted by Giuseppe Rapisarda management and included in the billboard of the Wave Summer Music 2022.
The concerts already announced in Sicily are scheduled for 27 and 28 August at the Ancient Theater of Taormina.

The tour, produced and organized by Friends & Partners, will be anticipated by the exclusive concert on Saturday 18 June at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, in the heart of their city, where it all began, in the cellar of their music.
Venditti & De Gregori will thrill the audience with a show in which they will give a new look to their greatest hits, songs that have entered people’s hearts, in people’s stories, which are the soundtrack of entire generations.
To join them on stage a band composed of musicians who for years have collaborated with the two artists: Alessandro Canini (drums), Danilo Cherni (keyboards), Carlo Gaudiello (piano), Primiano Di Biase (hammond), Fabio Pignatelli (bass), Amedeo Bianchi (sax), Paolo Giovenchi (guitars) and Alessandro Valle (pedal steel and mandolin).

Tickets for the Palermo date will be available on presale from 4 pm tomorrow (Friday 18 March) on Ticketone and in the Sicilia Ticket circuit.

Francesco De Gregori and Antonello Venditti have joined their voices reinterpreting two songs that have marked their careers and the history of Italian music, General And Remember me.
The songs, available on streaming and digital download platforms, are contained in a collector’s 45 rpm single available exclusively on Amazon.
He is currently on the radio Generala piece originally published by Francesco De Gregori in 1978, while Remember me opens the disc by Antonello Venditti In this world of thievesreleased 10 years later.

Two different but similar personalities.
Two artistic stature, each with its own poetics.
Venditti & De Gregori begin to collaborate in their early twenties during a trip to Hungary and begin to write their first songs together, to get to the common recording debut with Theorius Campusfor which Antonello records Roma Capocciaimmediately great success, and Francesco Lady Kite.
A record that marked the beginning of their artistic career for both.
The period of joint work was celebrated in 1978 by Venditti with the song Bomb or not bomb.
