Vaccini, Musumeci’s visit to the Agrigento hub: “We have to get out of the tunnel soon”

Surprise visit in the morning by the president of the Sicilian Region Nello Musumeci to the vaccination hub in Agrigento. The governor, accompanied by the regional councilor for the public function Marco Zambuto, the commissioner of the Free Consortium of Municipalities Vincenzo Raffo and the regional deputy Giusy Savarino, was welcomed by the Covid emergency commissioner of the city of temples, Mario Zappia, who accompanied through the different areas of the vaccination center.

Musumeci wanted to go to the structure, set up inside the Palacongressi of Villaggio Mosè, to bring the greetings of the regional government to the doctors and operators who work there. An opportunity for the President of the Region – who just yesterday received the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine – to meet and reassure the many citizens waiting to receive their dose of serum.

“I wanted to greet and thank all the operators who have worked and distinguished themselves in the past few weeks, and above all for what they will do in the next few weeks – said Musumeci -. We have a duty to team up to convince as many citizens to get vaccinated: keeping them safe is the only possible way to put an end to this grueling yellow-orange-red swing. We want and must get out of this tunnel quickly and definitively ”.
