Unict participates in the "Philhumans" project: robotic technologies to support personal health services

CATANIA – The University of Catania participates in an international research project "Marie Curie" which involves, as a partner, also Philips, R2M, the University of Cagliari, the Technische Universiteit of Eindhoven and the University of Aberdeen (UK). Purpose of the project "PHILHUMANS – Personal Health Interfaces Leveraging HUman – MAchine Natural interactionS" is to train a new generation of young researchers (Early Stage Researcher) able to create new wearable and robotic assistive technologies that through algorithms of Machine Learning is Computer Vision may be able to support man during daily activities, and in particular support personal health services.
