The event, organized by the municipality for Ferragosto, took place without the public safety authorization issued by the police station. The mayor, Pippo Gianni, had promoted the event on his Facebook page with hashtags such as fun, Ferragosto, dancing, foam, party, inflatables, and more. The post also mentioned a fashion show and the promotion of creations by the In-Tatto brand, made by young people from the Handicap Day Center in Priolo. The mayor had posted a photo as well.
