Two more agents attacked and injured by inmates at Augusta Prison

According to the provincial office of the Sippe, two prison police officers were attacked in the Augusta prison. Both officers were treated at Muscatello hospital: one received a three-day prognosis, while the other underwent a CT scan to assess their injuries. According to initial reports, there was a discussion between the officers and some detainees who refused to have a North African-origin prisoner placed in their section. The argument escalated, leading to the assault on the officers.
