Today the decrees for the allocation of 1.8 billion euros for the improvement of the energy efficiency of 274 cinemas, 348 theaters and 120 museums were published; for the attractiveness of 310 villages; for the enhancement of 134 historic parks and gardens; for the seismic adaptation and safety of 257 places of worship, towers and bell towers and for the restoration of 286 churches belonging to the Fund for cult buildings of the Ministry of the Interior (FEC).

Among these, in the list to enhance the identity of the places there are Sicilian historical parks and gardens: in addition to Villa Tasca, the historical garden of the Botanical Garden of Palermo about 2 million; the garden «P.
Mattarella »formerly the English Garden and of the Palermo parterre 2 million; the Robert Hawthorn Foundation Historic Garden of Villa Cuseni di Messina 1,243,433.83.
The Municipality of Ragusa goes to 2 million for the park of the Donnafugata castle, while to Stena Maria Paternò del Toscano 2 million for the historic Paternò garden, in Catania.

The Municipality of Catania will receive 2 million for the historic Bellini garden, while the Municipality of Erice 1.663.470 for the historic Balio garden.
To improve the energy efficiency of cinemas, theaters and museums, among the most significant financed projects we find 376 thousand euros for the Cityplex Tiffany, in Palermo; the Politeama multiplex in Caltagirone (400 thousand euros) and the Grillo multiplex in Mazara del Vallo (400 thousand euros); Metropolitan cityplex of Palermo (500 thousand euros).

Among the theaters, the Teatro Massimo Foundation in Palermo stands out (416,019 euros); the Greek Theater of Syracuse (650 thousand euros); Vittorio Emanuele Theater in Messina (400 thousand euros): the Massimo Vincenzo Bellini Theater in Catania, with almost 250 thousand euros.
