Trucking dispute in Sicily, the strike scheduled for tomorrow is suspended
"After the urgent meeting this morning of the Regional Road Transport Consultancy and further negotiations that continued throughout the day, we received confirmation of the suspension of the protest by the road hauliers that had been called for tomorrow, February 13. We have welcomed this orientation and therefore we want to thank the Aias president Pippo Richichi and his associates for the sense of responsibility shown in these hours ".
The Regional Councilor for Infrastructures Marco Falcone announced this following today's talks aimed at averting the strike of Sicilian road hauliers. The initiative had been proclaimed in recent days to protest the dear ships and the difficulties on the island's road network.
