Tree falls in Montepellegrino, no injuries

A large tree fell today along Via Monte Ercta, connecting Mondello to the Sanctuary of Santa Rosalia in Montepellegrino. Several teams of firefighters were called to remove the tree trunk blocking the road. The road remains closed to traffic but is still being used by local residents. Fortunately, no one was on the road at the time of the incident, and there were no injuries.
