Trapani Consortium for Legality, extension for another 20 years
"The institutional life of the Trapani Consortium for Legality and Development will continue for at least another twenty years. In an area such as that of the province of Trapani, which has one of the highest concentrations of assets confiscated from the mafia and assigned to the municipalities, including those belonging to the Consortium, it is appropriate to maintain and strengthen the activities aimed at achieving social purposes, both on the side of the management of assets confiscated from the mafia, both in the context of education, training and awareness raising activities on the issues of legality and social and economic development ».
This was stated by Giuseppe Scarcella, mayor of Paceco and president of the assembly of the Trapani Consortium for Legality and Development, at the end of the resolution to extend the consortium's expiry of twenty years, from 31 December 2020 to 31 December 2040.
