A 25-year-old man died in a car accident in Sciacca, at the intersection of Cronio and Asmara streets, in the city center. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but the victim’s scooter collided with a car. Immediate medical assistance was provided, but the man’s condition was critical and resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital, but her condition is not believed to be serious. The area was closed to traffic and police and carabinieri were on the scene.
