Tragic landing in Selinunte: Migrant’s account of seeing 15 bodies.

This morning, the manager of the seaside restaurant La Pineta received a call from the caretaker informing him that a Tunisian migrant was crying. The migrant had walked almost two kilometers to reach the restaurant. He tearfully explained that he had departed from Tunisia three days ago, and the boat almost capsized before reaching the shore. Some migrants ended up in the water, and the survivor claims to have seen 15 bodies floating. The manager provided food and water and called the authorities, who took the young migrant away. The restaurant is located approximately two kilometers from where the boat ran aground.
