There was an accident on the Palermo-Agrigento highway, specifically at the Misilmeri exit, towards the city of the Temples. A van overturned for reasons yet to be determined, after the driver lost control. The vehicle stopped on its side in the middle of the road, causing heavy traffic. The company in charge of the highway, Anas, removed the van. The traffic police directed the traffic and conducted the necessary investigations after long queues and delays formed. The driver was injured but not in serious condition. Earlier this morning, there was another accident on the same highway at Villabate involving two heavy vehicles. Both drivers were injured but not in critical condition, and were transported to the civic hospital by emergency services.
