Three-car accident on State Road 121: traffic blocked towards Catania

One morning of passion for motorists on the state road 121, heading towards Catania. An accident occurred in the territory of Motta Sant’Anastasia, just before the exit of Misterbianco. Emergency medical personnel, carabinieri, and Anas operators arrived on the scene after the alarm was raised. While waiting for rescue and the removal of vehicles from the roadway, there were severe traffic slowdowns, with long queues towards the city of Catania. This is the umpteenth accident in a few days on the road: last week, two cars were involved in a collision near the Rinazza area, in the territory of Biancavilla. In that case, two people were injured. In early November, there was a crash between a utility vehicle and a van driven by a 59-year-old man. Both he and the driver of the car were injured and transported to the hospital.
