The Sicilian Region regulates the "Green pass"

It will be valid for 6 months for those who have completed the anticovid vaccination cycle

The “green pass” will be valid for six months for those who have completed the anti Covid vaccination cycle and also in Sicily will be issued, at the request of the interested party, by the health facility or by those who practice the vaccination profession. This is foreseen by a circular from the Department of Health, signed by the President of the Region and interim Councilor for Health, Nello Musumeci, and sent, together with the prepared models, to all the general managers and health directors of the island’s health agencies.
The governor has in fact defined the procedures for obtaining the “Green Covid-19 Certification” to be used for travel between regions located in the red and orange zone, as required by the new “Reopening Decree” of the national government and awaiting subsequent national regulation. . As required by the decree law, the so-called “Green Pass”, also issued in paper format, proves the status of vaccination against Covid (full cycle with double dose), or the recovery from the infection (with termination of the prescribed isolation ), or the carrying out of a molecular or rapid antigen test with a negative result. Those who are cured of Covid, again as required by the decree law, can receive certification from the hospital where the hospitalization took place or, for non-hospitalized patients, from general practitioners and pediatricians of free choice. The test certification with negative result, on the other hand, is valid for 48 hours and is issued by authorized public or private health facilities and by the pharmacies that carry out the tests, or by general practitioners and pediatricians of free choice.
