Therestoration of the Castello della Colombaia in Trapani has been officially included among the projects to be financed with Recovery Plan . The national government, in fact, today announced the detailed document of the “Pnrr, National Recovery and Resilience Plan” relating to Culture, in which with the “Strategic Plan great cultural attractors” a total of 14 interventions throughout Italy will be financed, among which there is, in fact, the”Integrated project of restoration, use and enhancement” of the castle of the Colombaia in Trapani, developed by the Regional Department of Cultural Heritage and Sicilian Identity.Regional Councilor for Cultural Heritage and Sicilian Identity, Alberto Samonà on his social channels.
“The official inclusion of the restoration of the Dovecote in the Recovery plan is very important for Trapani and for all of Sicily – explains the Northern League commissioner – and it is a commitment maintained by the national government: once again I thank the Undersecretary of Culture Lucia Borgonzoni for having worked personally for the acceptance of the Musumeci Government proposal, thanks to which it will be possible to recover a unique place for history, beauty and for the particular position, which will allow to enhance the offer cultural not only of Trapani but of the whole of Sicily “.
Last March 23, the Ministry of Culture had officially transmitted the project relating to the island of the Colombaia to the Ministry of Economy as one of those to be financed, and today, with the publication of the “Next generation Eu – Culture” plan, its inclusion has been confirmed.
