More checks on the wild nightlife, respecting the new rules on the organization of events, implementing the fire prevention plan.
The Prefecture of Trapani presses the Mayors of the province.

A meeting of the Provincial Committee for Order and Public Safety was held, chaired by the Philippine Prefect Cocuzza, in the presence of the provincial leaders of the police, all the Mayors of the province and the Extraordinary Commissioner of the Municipality of Misiliscemi.

The meeting was convened to define, with all the Mayors, the measures to be taken to ensure that the “nightlife” is carried out safely, governing summer initiatives in a structured way on the basis of a uniform approach, “in the awareness of the absolute need for shared rules “writes the Prefecture in a note.
The goal is to combine fun and entertainment with safety.

In this sense there are rules to be respected in all municipalities regarding timetables, the sale of alcohol, noise emissions and the methods of joint controls aimed at preventing tensions, riots or fights and at the same time guaranteeing public peace.

Monitoring was carried out on the programming of summer events, with particular reference to public entertainment events that require timely and preventive organization.
Events must be promptly communicated by the Local Authorities in order to be able to implement all the necessary safety measures, also by the organizers.

The Prefect once again drew the attention of the Mayors to the adoption of effective strategies for preventing and fighting forest fires.

In particular, the updating of the municipal civil protection plans was again requested, with reference to the procedures envisaged in the event of a fire, the updating of the cadastre of the areas affected by the fire, as an effective deterrent tool, as well as the use, by part of all the bodies involved, of volunteers, especially on the days affected by particular risk conditions for the triggering of fires (as from tomorrow for the next ten days, according to the weather forecast).
