The pack violence in Palermo, the video allegedly not available online
The video of the rape suffered by a 19-year-old girl from Palermo, violated in July by seven boys in an abandoned construction site in Foro Italico, would not have ended up on the internet. The cyber police has searched the web for days, especially after the hunt for the video, filmed by one of the rapists, spread on Telegram. But there would be no trace of the footage. While the first four boys who were arrested after the victim’s complaint remain in prison, the lawyers of the other three suspects, arrested after a few weeks from the incident, have not yet filed a request for reconsideration for their clients. The young victim has received solidarity from thousands of people on social media.
