The Island in the snapshots of the Scafidi: a century lived through images

Explain it to me in brief the following article:
Giusto Scafidi was born in 1904 and, as was the custom at that time, at the age of 15 he started working at the Seffer brothers’ studio, becoming a skilled “retoucher” and colorist. He started his own business in the stables of Palazzo Scalea, where he was loved by nobles and upper bourgeoisie. After his studio was destroyed by an American bomb in 1943, his son Nicola took over in 1955. Nicola worked from the streets to cinematographic sets, capturing iconic behind-the-scenes moments of films like “The Leopard”. Pucci, the grandson, is now innovating the family tradition by exploring the use of colors and materials to add a tactile dimension to his photographs, showcasing the evolution of the Scafidi family’s work over the past 100 years.
