Two charred bodies have been found in a small house in Cinisi, not far from the airport. The corpses have not been identified yet. They are victims of the fire that has been raging in the area for hours. The discovery took place in Fondo Orsa inside a severely damaged house that went up in flames. The two victims were approximately 77 and 75 years old.

This brings the total number of casualties to three. An 88-year-old woman, Rita Gaetana Pillitteri, who was in poor health, died earlier in the day because the emergency medical services were unable to reach her due to the fires.
