The Vini di Sicilia 2023 guide edited by Francesco Abate and Giancarlo Gariglio with the editorial coordination of Olivia Reviglio in collaboration with Slow Wine was presented at the Palermo Botanical Garden. The guide will be on sale at a cost of 3.50 euros with the Giornale di Sicilia starting tomorrow. And a special on the presentation and awarding of wineries will be broadcast on Tgs on Wednesday at 21.30.
The volume was presented in a meeting conducted by Salvo La Rosa, which was attended by the rector of the University Museum System Paolo Inglese, in his capacity as host, the editor of the Giornale di Sicilia Lino Morgante, the director Marco Romano and the editors of the guide who, together with the collaborators of Slow Wine, have given life for the sixth consecutive year to an in-depth study on the state of health of Sicilian wine. Also present are several Sicilian producers reviewed in the guide and awarded.
The event continued with samplings and tastings of the 120 selected white, red, rosé, sparkling, structured, light and full-bodied wines, all excellent local products and worthy representatives of Sicilian history and tradition.
