Former Dire Straits guitarist Phil Palmer has chosen to spend a week on vacation in the town of Tre Fontane, in the Trapani area. Accompanied by his wife, artist Numa Palmer, he had previously visited Tre Fontane three years ago and fell in love with its long beach and crystal-clear sea.
On his first day at the beach, Phil Palmer had the opportunity to meet Mauro Cudia, vice president of the Pro Loco of Campobello and its suburbs. Palmer also expressed his appreciation for the beach and sea of Tre Fontane, stating that it is the perfect place to relax.
Phil Palmer is one of the most renowned international session guitarists and was a guitarist for Dire Straits for a year. In 1991, he participated in the recording of the album “On Every Street” by Dire Straits, with whom he soon embarked on a worldwide tour lasting just over a year, from August 23, 1991, to October 9, 1992. Currently, Phil Palmer is engaged with the band ‘Dire Straits Legacy’ touring the world, performing a repertoire of songs from the British band that topped the charts and set arenas on fire worldwide in the late ’70s and ’80s.
