The Flight Saber Palermo awaits the Jolly Cinquefrondi at the Pala Oreto

After four months the Pala Oreto returns to welcome the Flight Saber Palermo for an official commitment. Tomorrow (Saturday 23 October, 6 pm) the boys trained by Nicola Ferro will be expected to have another battle on the field, the one against the Calabrian Diper Jolly Cinquefrondi. The match, which will be behind closed doors, is valid for the second day of the national championship of men’s Serie B group M. The designated referees are Alessandro D’Argenio (CT Irpinia Sannio) and Andrea Bonomo (CT Rome).

After the debut defeat against Universal Catania, the Palermo team trained focusing on the critical issues highlighted in the first championship match. The coaching staff worked hard on the fundamentals trying to face the match against Cinquefrondi in the best possible way. Nicola Ferro will be able to count on the full squad and knows very well that the match against the Calabrians hides many pitfalls. “The match against Cinquefrondi is now a classic of the category – says Ferro -. In recent years we have seen challenges surrounded by high-level volleyball. We will face a well-organized training led by an expert technician like Tonino Chirumbolo. And then we are talking about a group of high quality athletes such as Degli Esposti at the dribble, or Di Pasquale who also played in Serie A, or Bonati. On the other hand, we are growing and, despite the defeat against Universal, I saw a motivated group. I also focus on the mentality of some individuals: Aci Catena, for example, lacked the fundamental contribution of Gruessner that I hope to find tomorrow (Saturday 23, ed) ”. A Cinquefrondi, therefore, endowed with particular individualities to make it a high ranking team. In the Reggino team, there is also the central Walter Vaiana, a native of Prizzi. The race will be streamed live on the Facebook page of the Flight Saber Palermo.
