The differentiation in the "door to door" goes up: "Soon a video surveillance plan against the uncivilized"
Compared to the monthly average of last year, in January 2020 the Rap collected 630 tons of differentiated waste more in the four areas of the city served by "door to door". The increase, which temporarily stands at + 8%, was obtained after the change in the collection calendar: that is, the reduction from two to one of the days of collection of the non-recyclable residue (the undifferentiated, so to speak), as well as greater uniformity between the different neighborhoods.
The numbers rejoice – moderately – the Orlando administration, which intends to launch a plan for video surveillance of the over 130 landfills surveyed in the city. The goal is to nip the phenomenon of waste migration: the bags that are delivered from the 'door to door' in traditional unsorted bins or worse still left on the street.
