The Carabiniere beach in Isola delle Femmine hosts 23 children from the Zen neighborhood.

The beach of the Carabinieri in Isola delle Femmine opened its gates today to 23 children from the Zen2 neighborhood of Palermo, thanks to an initiative by the Carabinieri of Palermo and the L’Albero della Vita Foundation. Sea, diving, lots of fun, educational activities, and games. These are the main elements that characterized the day for the children involved in the project “Crossing the Threshold”. This work has been carried out since 2016 by the L’Albero della Vita Foundation in Palermo, which has always had continuous collaboration with the Carabinieri. The day at the beach is just the latest in a series of initiatives that the L’Albero della Vita Foundation carries out with the Carabinieri, one of the activities within ImpariAmo, the educational enhancement laboratory that supports children and their families in conditions of economic and social vulnerability.
