31-year-old tennis champion Marco Cecchinato said “yes.” The Palermo native, former world number sixteen and semi-finalist at the Roland Garros in 2018, married his Gaia last night at the Spazio Fase, a former paper mill converted into a location for exclusive events in Alzano Lombardo, in the province of Bergamo, where his now-wife is from. The couple also has a son, Edoardo, born in 2020. Cecchinato, one of the last to beat Novak Djokovic in a Grand Slam (in the quarterfinals of that magical Roland Garros), had a grand ceremony with all of his friends. In the days leading up to the wedding, Cecchinato wished Jannik Sinner good luck in the Torino Finals beginning today.
