Teacher in Bagheria scolds two youths on scooter, gets slapped.

Violence in Bagheria, near Palermo, against a high school teacher. It happened on Via Dante, after the professor reprimanded two boys on a scooter for riding on the sidewalk and almost hitting pedestrians. The boys got off the scooter and slapped the teacher. The incident alarmed colleagues, who are calling for the community to reflect on reclaiming their pedagogical role. This is the second violent episode recently in Bagheria, as another officer was slapped by two young men on a scooter. The community is concerned about the escalating violence.
