The Targa Florio Classic is coming to an end with the Monreale Trophy scheduled for tomorrow, October 13. The day will give competitors the opportunity to drive their cars to San Martino delle Scale, with a series of tests along the way towards Monreale, home to the monumental Cathedral, a UNESCO heritage site. The first car is expected to arrive at the Marina Yachting Trapezoidal Pier in Palermo at 10:06, where the final lunch and award ceremony will take place at 1:00 PM.
The Ferrari Tribute to Targa Florio has brought 70 extraordinary cars to Sicily, built since 1991, to compete in a precision race along the same route once raced by great pilots such as Fangio, Merzario, and Nino Vaccarella.
There was great competition on the two stages, and only the official rankings will determine the award order among the top drivers in the Regularity. The Italian Grand Events Championship for vintage cars is heating up, with a decisive challenge among the top drivers. Even chef Carlo Cracco took part in the race, praising the beautiful landscapes and energy of the area.
