Taormina, the head of the entrepreneurs association surrenders: “Dear bills, I close the pizzeria”

«Gas bill too expensive, we are forced to close the pizzeria of our restaurant». Carmelo Pintaudi, president of the Association of entrepreneurs for Taormina, says this. «The gas bill – he adds – was of a thousand euros a month. Now it’s 2,500 and we don’t know what the future holds. I specify that most of the costs come from the oven. For this reason we have decided to close it after the current legislation has asked us to transform it from a wood oven, in fact, to gas. Now, however, the costs are no longer sustainable. I believe that we have applied sanctions that are working against us ».
