Syracuse, Covid vaccines, “open day” until July 27 and new proximity station. It’s a war on variants

SYRACUSE – They will continue until Tuesday 27 July (including) the “Open days” organized by the Sicilian Region to further promote the vaccination campaign on the island. The whole population, aged 12 and over, will be able to get vaccinated without reservation in all vaccination points of the Sicilian provinces, including those set up by the ASP in Syracusan. In the province continues, in addition to the “Open days”, also the extraordinary proximity vaccination, involving a second shopping center after the one in via Necropoli del Fusco in Syracuse. From Friday 23 July to Sunday 25 July the ASP of Syracuse will be present inside the “Belvedere” commercial park of Melilli with a temporary station (in the photo, under construction) for the anti-Covid vaccination with serum Pfizer, open to all age groups from 12 years of age and without reservation.

Medical, nursing, technical-administrative staff, psychologists and URP operators will operate on site who will manage the reception together with the volunteers of the Civil Protection of Melilli and of the Misericordie. The vaccination point will be supported by a mobile unit of the transfusion center of the “Umberto I” hospital and by an ambulance. It will be active from 16 of Friday 23 July until 9pm, then Saturday 24th July e Sunday 25 July from 9 to 21.
