Another positive result regarding the safety of school buildings. Twenty municipal schools in Agrigento will benefit from funding and will be subject to investigations by the floors, financed by the MIUR. In fact, the Municipality of Agrigento had applied for the selection notice with the Miur last year to ban the resources allocated with the Decree of 8 August, for checks and interventions on attics and false ceilings of school buildings.
"The investigations of the attics of our schools and gyms – declares the mayor Lillo Firetto – demonstrate the commitment and attention of the Administration on the issue of safety of school buildings. The tests are the first way to protect the school community and to reassure the parents of the pupils ".
To benefit from the financing for carrying out checks on floors and ceilings are 20 institutes: "Cpia-Sm", "Tortorelle", "Castagnolo", "New Manhattan", "Sorelle Agazzi", "Verga-Reale", "Esseneto "," Fava "," Trupia "," Anna Frank "," Margherita Hak "," Giardino Fiorito ", School Laboratory" Anna Frank "," Lauricella ", Federico II Gym, Garibaldi Gym, Tortorelle Gym, Anna Frank Gym, "San Giovanni Bosco" and Federico II.
