SuperMondello and Premio Mondello Giovani awarded to Ada D’Adamo

Ada D’Adamo has won the SuperMondello Award and the Mondello Giovani 2023 Award with her book Come d’aria. The awards were presented at the Teatro Biondo in Palermo as part of the 49th edition of the International Literary Prize Mondello. D’Adamo’s book is a powerful and truthful piece where every moment is offered as a gift, depicting the story of Daria, the author’s daughter, and her own battle with illness. The winners were chosen by a committee and the jury of qualified readers, as well as by a jury of students from various Italian schools. Giuseppe Patota also won an award for his work on the decline of reading among young people. These awards are a recognition of the literary talent of Italian authors.
