Student in Spadafora retakes maturity exam, but grade remains unchanged for girl appealing the decision
Despite different commissions, the student from the scientific linguistic high school Galileo di Spadafora (Messina) received the same evaluation after appealing and having the oral exam repeated for her entire class. Both commissions gave her the same passing grade. The students, who had been under stress, were relieved and celebrated the end of their exam, which had been repeated by decision of the administrative court due to irregularities. The Ministry of Education had already investigated the case, and the final result did not change after the appeal. The student’s family had filed a complaint regarding the unfair treatment she received during the exam. Despite delays in the repeat exams, the students ultimately expressed gratitude to the commission for making them feel comfortable and emphasized that all of them were treated equally.
