Strong winds in Catania, trees fall at cemetery, mayor closes public gardens

Several medium and tall trees fell in the cemetery of Catania due to the strong wind. Because of the adverse weather conditions, the mayor, Enrico Trantino, issued an urgent ordinance which orders the precautionary closure for tomorrow, Sunday, November 26, of cemeteries, parks, and public gardens.
