The financiers of the Palermo group have seized a warehouse of LPG cylinders in Palermo. The military confiscated 167 LPG cylinders in a warehouse that did not have security authorizations in Via Gustavo Roccella.
The owner, a 31-year-old TF from Palermo, did not request the Scia and did not communicate the presence of flammable cylinders to the Municipality of Palermo and to the firefighters. The fire prevention certificate was also missing with the aggravating circumstance of the presence of employees inside the premises.
These communications and certifications are essential for the safety of the structures and of the people inside them due to the dangers caused by the presence of highly flammable gases or vapors that could cause serious explosions.
The Financiers then proceeded with the seizure of 167 LPG cylinders (for a total weight of approximately 2,515 kg) and the criminal seizure of the warehouse used for the sale and storage of fuels for domestic use without safety authorizations.
The operation testifies to the commitment of the Guardia di Finanza as an economic and financial police with a strong social vocation to protect the safety of citizens.
