Stolen olives recovered from Asp land and donated to Capuchin charity

Four citizens of Alia were caught by the carabinieri while illegally collecting olives from a field owned by the Provincial Health Agency of Palermo. They were reported for aggravated theft, but the seized olives were later turned into olive oil and donated to the needy community of Mission San Francesco in Palermo. The olive oil was processed by the La Nina agricultural association and delivered to Mission San Francesco, which provides over 150 meals a day to those in need. This act of solidarity was appreciated by the community and the individuals involved in the donation.
