Stolen gun found in front of entrepreneur’s house was taken 20 years ago in Palermo.
It was stolen 20 years ago the rifle with which, a few days ago, an intimidation was carried out on an entrepreneur from Grotte. At the end of May, the weapon and a shell were found in front of the 65-year-old man’s house.
The entrepreneur had opened the door and discovered the weapon, a twelve-gauge rifle, and an exploded shell. The man had alerted the carabinieri of the local station, filing a report. The military personnel who arrived on the scene had seized the rifle and bullet and carried out all the necessary investigations.
From the investigations, it has now emerged that the twelve-gauge rifle was stolen in 2004 in the province of Palermo. It is unknown who left it in front of the entrepreneur’s house and who made it disappear 20 years ago. The investigations by the carabinieri coordinated by the prosecutor’s office of Agrigento are ongoing.
