Spanish military ship in Lampedusa: it will embark 15 migrants from the Open Arms

The Spanish military ship Audaz has arrived and is docked in Lampedusa. This is the boat sent by the Spanish government to transship 15 of the migrants who, in recent days, have fallen from the Open Arms.

Initially, the ship had been sent to carry out the transfer and to transfer all the non-EU citizens remaining on the ship of the Spanish NGO to Majorca. Meanwhile, however, the Agrigento prosecutor, Luigi Patronaggio, ordered the preventive seizure and therefore the consequential, immediate disembarkation of all the shipwrecked.

The Spanish ship took just under three days to reach Lampedusa, where it will now only load 15 of the migrants who were on the Open Arms.
