The investigation began after the escape of a 39-year-old Tunisian offender, KH, who left his home in Postal (BZ) in June 2019, where he was under house arrest after a conviction for drug trafficking. According to the investigators, the brother had then taken over the shop in the area of ​​the Bolzano railway station. The investigation traced back to the various groups involved in the drug dealing, not only in Bolzano, also abroad, in particular in France, where the KH was in hiding and, to a lesser extent, in Austria, arresting various members of the gang. . Finally KH was arrested in Belgium. In total, the survey involved 83 people, all of whom were believed to be involved in an international trafficking of drugs of various kinds. Of these, 27 were arrested in flagrant crime for drug dealing, 23 were joined by a custody order in prison, while the other 33 people are under investigation.
