Six pirates of the sea arrested in Porto Empedocle, stole motor from a small boat.

Six Tunisians have been arrested by the police in Agrigento, along with the military of the Guardia di Finanza and the Coast Guard, on charges of piracy. They are part of the crew of the Zohra fishing boat from the Monastir district, who stole the engine from an iron boat with 49 migrants on board, as well as the money the migrants possessed. The Tunisian fishing boat has been seized and is currently anchored in Lampedusa. The six individuals, aged between 30 and 52, have been transferred to Porto Empedocle by the Coast Guard and have already been taken to the prison in Agrigento. They face a penalty of 10 to 20 years imprisonment as prescribed by the navigation code.
