Siracusa impresses with a stunning victory over Reggina

The Siracusa football team is serious about their game. The league leader won against the new Reggina team in front of almost 5,000 spectators and held their ground against Trapani, who have one less game but still have a perfect score after winning the derby against Akragas in Agrigento. The match played at Granillo against La Fenice Reggio Calabria was quite challenging for the surprise team of the tournament. Siracusa played with only one forward, Maggio, who scored a header goal from a corner kick at the 46th minute of the first half to give his team the lead. La Fenice equalized early in the second half (7′) with a penalty kick by Barillà. Ten minutes later, the away team secured the victory with a goal by Alma. Towards the end of the match (47′ of the second half), Suhs received a red card and was sent off.
