Siracusa, an automobile hits a couple on a scooter: two young people severely injured.

A young couple has been run over by a car in Belvedere, a northern suburb of Syracuse. The impact was extremely violent, causing the two young people to be thrown off their bikes and suffer serious injuries. Some passersby alerted emergency services, and both the 118 medical team and the Municipal Police Traffic Division arrived at the scene. The two young individuals were transported to the hospital with a red code and underwent surgery. They are currently in the Intensive Care Unit with a guarded prognosis. Investigations to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident are ongoing.
