Sicilian violinist Samuele Palumbo wins Tu Sì Que Vales 2023

Samuele Palumbo triumphs at Tu Sì Que Vales 2023. The tenth edition of the talent show, judged by Maria De Filippi, Gerry Scotti, Rudy Zerbi, Luciana Littizzetto, and Sabrina Ferilli, crowned the winner as the young violinist born in Cefalù in 2011. Palumbo, a true prodigy, has been playing the violin since he was six years old and has already been admitted to the Palermo Conservatory. Since 2020, he has been part of the “Kids Orchestra” at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. From the first episode, Palumbo mesmerized everyone with his performances, including a medley and challenging pieces like Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. In addition to the title, Palumbo also received the 100,000 euro prize for first place. Interestingly, due to TV laws, Palumbo’s mother accepted the prize on his behalf as minors are not allowed to appear on TV after midnight. In his place, there was a cardboard cutout of him alongside his mother.
