Sicilian Symphony Orchestra sets subscription record

The new season of the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra, under the leadership of the new superintendent Andrea Peria, has already received positive feedback from the public, with a 25% increase in subscription sales. The upcoming season will feature new collaborations with artists such as Iranian pianist Ramin Bahrami and violinist Francesca Dego. The orchestra will also present premieres and Italian debuts, as well as performances with guests such as Stefano Accorsi, Paolo Fresu, and Nicola Piovani. Superintendent Peria expressed satisfaction with the response and emphasized the orchestra’s focus on the classical-romantic repertoire. Additionally, the orchestra received increased funding from the regional government, and looks forward to an exciting and successful season.
