Shopwindow breakers strike in Ribera: jewelry store window cleaned up

A jewelry store in Ribera was robbed of nearly €6,000 by a group of window smashers who cleaned out the display case of precious items and watches. The owners found the shattered glass when they opened, and the police were called to investigate. It is believed that at least three people were involved, and surveillance footage is being reviewed. Similar robberies have occurred in Palermo, targeting jewelry stores and cell phone shops. The investigations are ongoing and being coordinated by the prosecutor’s office.
