Shooting in the Sant'Alberto district, eight years in prison for one of the two defendants
Sentenced today by the Gup of the Court of Trapani, to eight years of imprisonment and compensation for damages, one of the two young men accused of the wounding of a man of North African origin occurred during the shooting at the "Sant'Alberto" district of Trapani on 11 July 2019.
This is Vincenzo Mario Messina accused, together with Sergio Manzo, of attempted murder and illegal port of a revolver. The young man chose to be tried with the abbreviated rite. The prosecutor had asked for ten years.
According to the police reconstruction, Messina – who arrived on board a large-displacement scooter together with a Tunisian – had asked for information to track down a North African who, at the moment, was not present.
