Agrigento, Sept. 8 – The plane coming from Palermo and bound for Lampedusa, with scheduled time at 7.35, landed three hours late because on the island it had docked in a port too high that would have hampered the operations of landing.

The corridor leading down from the Lampedusa airport, in fact, passes flush with the port and the presence of the ship was deemed to be inconsistent with the protocol.
