A 25-year-old woman from Piedmont, Italy, had to cut her vacation short in San Vito Lo Capo. Drunk and causing disturbance to holidaymakers in the middle of the night, she started biting the Carabinieri officers who were trying to calm her down. Tourists sought the help of the military because they were disturbed by the woman’s screams, as she had consumed too much alcohol. While the Carabinieri were attempting to pacify her, the girl bit one of the officers on the arm and began to attack them. The young woman was arrested, and a judge upheld the decision and imposed a precautionary measure prohibiting her from residing in the Province of Trapani.
