Serie C: Cristiano Lucarelli returns to Catania with contract until 2026

Cristiano Lucarelli is the new technical manager of the Catania first team. He takes over from Luca Tabbani, who was dismissed on November 5, and has signed a contract until June 30, 2026. The club expressed thanks to Michele Zeoli, who will return to coach the Under 19 team. This opportunity for Lucarelli came after a change in the Serie B collective agreement, allowing managers dismissed before December 20 to be rehired in the same season. Lucarelli previously coached Catania in the 2017-18 and 2019-20 seasons.
